This project started in 2017. Released in January of 2021 to all digital music platforms!

One day I went into my home studio and decided I wanted to try making a song without playing any instruments myself. Very different from most of the songs/music I write. Instead of starting with a guitar or piano, I started with Loops! The first song was ‘Ocean Dance’. I had fun doing that and before I knew I had ‘Minstral Show’, and ‘Poolside’ recorded. All of them were strictly instrumental loops. Then ‘Ancient Walls’ happened.

With ‘Ancient Walls’ the instrumental concept stuck, but this time it was me playing guitar, not prerecorded loops!

By January of 2021 I had 8 songs that I liked enough to released an album. I used a fictitious band name of Modern Eyes (ME) and titled the album 'Side Projects'. Modern Eyes was a play on modernize and (ME)! Anyway it was a different and fun way for me to make music, which I love to do! With Modern Eyes, I just go where it takes me.
